Tiger Shark Tiger sharks inhabit warm waters in deep oceanic and shallow coastal regions. They are known to be voracious and will eat just about everything it comes into contact with. Tiger sharks probably have the widest variety of food of all sharks. They are nocturnal feeders and enter lagoons at night to feed on fishes, seals, sharks, turtles, birds, invertebrates and they have also been know to even eat garbage. Juveniles have a distinctive vertical striping which it gets its name.
